Are you an Automotive technician with the talent to compete on a world stage?
Do you have what it takes to rise to the top in a UK wide search for the finest auto industry technicians?
If your answer is Yes, Skillauto can provide you with the platform you need to showcase your skills.
Competitions are about finding the 'best of the best' and the competitive nature of humankind means that certain talented individuals will always strive to develop their skills in an effort to beat the opposition.
For the individual, the rewards can be fantastically self satisfying. For employers, highly adept employees contribute to the success and profitability of the company.
Everyone benefits from competition as it ensures the constant development of technology, quality of goods and services provided.
Skillauto's search for the best is through national Automotive Technician competitions, which we run in the following disciplines
The Skillauto Regional Heats for 2010 have now come to a close, with the finals being held at BMW's Wokefield Park Acdemy in June.
Over 700 registrants across the 3 competitions tried the online questionnaire which opened last September, with those selected for the regional heats competing throughout March and April for a place in the final.
A big congratulations goes out to the 18 finalists (6 in each stream) striving to reach the title of Skillauto's Technician of the Year. Not only are the competitors competing against eachother, they are also striving for the opportunity to represent the UK at the WorldSkills event - the next one being held in London in 2011. The winners of the Skillauto AutoTech final for this year are revealed on our Refuel page.
